We were doing a bit of spring cleaning in the office before Chinese New Year. Clearing shelves. Sorting old files. Digging through cupboards. And then we came across these two plaques.

Ten years ago, when Malaysia rolled out GST, Syarikat Ong became the first company in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur to register under the mandatory category. Not one of the first. The first.

We checked. The Royal Malaysian Customs confirmed it. So did the Malaysia Book of Records. And we were given plaques to prove it.

Because that’s who we are. We walk the talk. We test it on ourselves before ever advising a client.

Whether it’s GST back then, or e-Invoicing today, we believe in leading by doing. We go through the forms, the systems, the confusion, the errors, the deadlines. That’s the experience we bring to the table.

So when we advise clients, it’s not commentary. It’s hands-on action. We’ve done the work, and we continue to do it early. Because we believe that’s the only way to advise with credibility and care.
