Job Description
- Prepare tax returns & tax computations, perform filling, payment and all necessary paperwork in relation to the tax filing.
- Prepare WHT, SST, payment for tax return.
- Liaise with government authorities (include both LHDN and Customs) on tax matter.
- Provide advice and support on tax matter to clients, which include identify tax risk and able to solve it.
- Engage with clients’ auditors on tax matter.
- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to tax updates.
- Assist in the preparation of Transfer Pricing documents.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accounting / Finance or Professional qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience relating to personal tax, corporate tax, withholding tax, Real Property Gain Tax as well as Sales & Service Tax.
- Knowledge and experience in Transfer Pricing an added Advantage
- Knowledge in the use of BrassTax software an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word, in particular).
- Excellent analytical, time management and numeracy skills.
- Believes that Commitment towards quality of work.
- Believes in being a good team player.
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) in Mandarin is an added advantage, as the role requires candidate to liaise with our Mandarin speaking customers.
